Revox Turntable

Revox Direct Drive servo motor,1986 B-291 Tangential linear tracker. I have owned this since new , I recently had it serviced for the speed regulator and rail belt that the cartridge rides on. Supposedly the electrolytic caps were changed also but I can not guarantee that they were because I will not take it apart to check. The shop did charge me for replacing them ( No Guarantee on them ). The alignment tool comes with it, it is impossible to align the cartridge on one of these w/o the tool, recently a tool sold on E-bay for 5.00.
There is one small problem since it came back from the shop, when the platter is spinning sometimes there is a faint rubbing noise that comes and goes. You can not hear it unless you are standing right up to the table, it does not affect the music at all. I believe that the shop did not align the servo drive perfectly and that is maybe causing the platter to occasionally rub on the side of the plinth. It does not sound mechanical or electrical.
The speed is very accurate as only a direct drive can be. There is no tone arm only weights depending on the tracking force needed for a particular cartridge, the best sounding cartridges in theses tables are of high compliance, I ran an Ortofon MC 20 MK 11 for 30 years and the stylus never got worn, that is the testament for near perfect tracking. There is no cartridge with this sale.. The dust cover is in excellent condition This is a final sale with no returns or refunds for any reason.
